I have installed MashLogic, but I do not see the button in the top navigation bar of my browser.
When I move my mouse around a page that contains MashLogic links, I find the callouts (pop-ups) distracting.
MashLogic adds too many links to the web page.
This could happen if you have many mashes active. To address this, review your list of active mashes in the Configuration Panel. Click the MashLogic button in your browser navigation bar and select Configure MashLogic (you may also do this by selecting the gear icon from a callout).
- De-activate mashes that you may not require.
- If you have News & Feeds active, click on it to inspect and modify the settings for your choice of categories and feeds. Removing categories will result in fewer MashLogic links on web pages.
I don't see any MashLogic (dotted blue) links.
This could happen if you have suspended MashLogic. Click the MashLogic button in your browser navigation bar. In the drop-down menu click Resume MashLogic.
If MashLogic was not suspended, make sure that you have selected a few mashes from the drop-down menu and look for MashLogic links on a page such as CNN or Yahoo!.
The fonts on the web page are all messed up.
This could happen if you have chosen to remove publisher links. Click the MashLogic button in your browser navigation bar. In the drop-down menu check Keep Original Links.
It takes a long time for MashLogic links to appear on the web page.
To minimize any disruption to your browsing experience, MashLogic stays out of the way until your entire page has loaded before springing into action. Many web pages are assembled by pulling in ads, widgets, and other such elements from external sources. Any delay introduced by these sources ripples down to us. You may be able to observe the loading sequence in the status bar (lower left) of your browser.
Our links will appear 1-2 seconds after the page has completely loaded. We are making every effort to reduce this latency, which will become apparent in upcoming releases.
I added my blog to MashFeeds but don’t see any links.
First, make sure that you have installed MashLogic and are subscribed to your MashFeed. We update our index every 6 hours, so you should start seeing links after that. If you're still having trouble, please contact us.
TIPS
- Click anywhere within a callout to pin it.
- Click anywhere outside a callout to close it.
